Welcome to my website and my first blog!
I have been a personal trainer and health coach for over 30 years. When I turned 60, it helped me to understand that wellness is a whole new ballgame. The book I have recently written, GETTING TO the BEST YOU, is a book my clients have asked me to write. It’s a book that meets women where they are. No guilt. No quick fixes. No promises. In fact, it’s a SLOW fix that makes the rest of your life worth living.
I believe you can have a quality of life and get healthier at any age----if you are willing to take the right steps. While I don’t believe in quick fixes, I do believe that positive change is possible. It’s about changing and choosing, everything from what you put in your mouth, to how much you get moving.
What small step can you do today that will lead you to big changes for good? Can you take a 10 minute walk and enjoy the outdoors? Can you have a peach instead of a cookie? Can you take the stairs instead of an elevator?
Imagine…. How would you like to feel in one year? In five years? In 10 or 20 years? For me, I want to be walking the beautiful mountains in Arizona when I am 90. I have talked to no one who doesn’t want to live longer, productively. It’s never too late to start thinking about your health.
Taking control of your health is the most empowering journey women will ever take.
